2009 Curriculum, Dates, and Costs
No matter your level of proficiency you will make huge learning gains with Casa Berja's program.
Your in-class study will take place daily Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm. Your class time will be spent at our Language Institute ( 2 blocks walking from the penthouse). Your teacher is a certified local native who has studied English and understands the process of learning Spanish from an English speakers perspective. You will participate in hands on activities as well as weekly field trips to put what you have learned into action. These lessons will help cement grammar concepts as well as introduce vocabulary.
The real learning takes place outside of the classroom......
Your curriculum does not involve much textbook work but rather is hands on and involves whole group activities. You learn like the natives do - in a natural context that is both easier and longer lasting. Excursions such as a cultural and historical walking tour of Berja is included as well as field trips to the beach and Almeria Capital.
